Time to Prepare No images? Click here Waivers, Start Lists, Balance Bike Race, Mud Run, Volunteer!Honing in on the Family Adventure Weekend of the year. This is an important, lengthy email. Please follow through. Ask your team members if they saw this email and to follow through. Some get lost in cyberspace, junk folders etc. The most important piece of this email for us, is to ask if you would sign up one volunteer for one session TODAY. It is the biggest piece of our puzzle and we absolutely cannot do it with the help of 60 volunteers per race day. Alumni, friends, family please sign up. Details below. Registration closes within a week. If you have any other friends who have been on the fence. This is it. There are a few spots left that sponsors did not take so we open them back up this week. Last Chance. WaiversPlease take a moment to sign the waiver. One per family. We have to have a waiver on file before your child is allowed on course. What's more fun than being a spectator? Participation. Would you help us and be part of our team of volunteers who help keep the kids safe, on track and encouraged? We have several positions over three days. We need about 60 volunteers daily to manage obstacles, marshal, parking and hospitality. Onsite at 7:30 am for about 5 hours. A tech shirt, lunch and a great day playing in the woods helping the Toughest Kids Adventure Racers on the planet. Check Registration details. The lists are up for you to check your details. The timing database will pick up what YOU entered. We will check but will miss things. Please help us get these start lists 100 % accurate by checking your child's details. Most importantly ARE THEY IN THE CORRECT DIVISION. This is where most mistakes are made. Boys/Girls or COED. Please triple check. Actual Start Lists will come out Sunday August 4th. Gear ListThis list is PERSONAL and MANDATORY. That means that each athlete is required to race with their backpack, water, bike gloves, helmet, small first aid kit, wind jacket, a small snack and closed 'running shoes'. This course does not lend itself well for sandals. You bring your bike which should be in good working order and has tires that will work well on dirt tracks. We will provide harnesses and life jackets. No harness corral: For those of you who have done this before, we will not have a harness corral before the race starts. Instead we will have pop up harness fittings along the course. You will be putting them on and taking them off at certain obstacles. There will be many volunteers to help you with this, but it might be a good idea to practice in advance.
